MeshNow adapts Reticulum Network as transport protocol option

MeshNow is built as a toolkit, not a single radio stack. Bluetooth, LAN, and mesh already cover the room and the block. Reticulum Network is the option for when a path is slow, radio-only, or only up for a moment — a Delay-Tolerant Network hop that still carries a call, a message, or a file.

Reticulum is a cryptography-based networking stack designed to work across radios, serial links, and IP without assuming a stable backbone. Packets may wait. Paths may change. Identity stays cryptographic, so a name can keep working when the next hop is a different radio than the last one.

In Taiwan that mix is practical. Mountain trails, typhoon weeks, and festival crowds already force people off the cellular grid. MeshNow does not replace those community meshes. It treats Reticulum as a selectable transport so the same app can hand a payload to the path that is actually up.

That is the product bet: one toolkit, several transports. Users should not have to pick a stack before they can reach someone nearby. MeshNow keeps Reticulum as an option beside Bluetooth and LAN — ready when the shorter path is gone.
